Manifesto

01 / 05
A website is the only member of staff who works every hour, never forgets a follow-up, and has never once asked for a raise.

So we build it the way you would hire anyone else: a fixed brief, a fixed price, and one measurable job, to get you booked. Everything else is decoration, and decoration is what you end up paying for twice.

Superuser — since the first line of code

Why us

02 / 05

Four promises, in writing.

Not values on a wall. Terms you can hold us to, published before you have paid anything — and enforceable the day you decide to leave.

  • Scope

    One number, written down.

The pages, the deliverables and the timeline are agreed before we start. Nothing moves, nothing surprises, and nothing appears on the invoice that was not on the list.

  • Payment

    You pay when it works.

A deposit holds your date. The balance is due on launch day, before the site goes live. We would rather earn the second half than invoice it on faith.

  • Ownership

    You own all of it.

Your domain, your content, your code, your analytics. Yours from day one — and still yours the day you leave, with a walk-through to deploy it anywhere.

  • Exit

    Leave any month you like.

Care plans run month to month with thirty days notice and no exit fees. A website should work for you. It should never hold you hostage.

What we do

03 / 05

Everything you need to be found, booked and running without us.

We offer eight services across two categories. Pick the stage you are in and we will always guide you along your decision.

    • One defined first version, delivered working
    • A fixed number that does not move while you wait
  • Build

    • Built to talk to your website and dashboard
Care

Ongoing Care

Keep it fast, secure and answering, without you.

The unglamorous part that decides whether the website was worth building in the first place.

  • Uptime monitoring, daily backups, tested restores
  • Security patches, SSL and domain renewal handled
  • Small content edits and same-business-day fixes

How we work

04 / 05

Six steps. You can stop at any of them.

Each one ends with something written in your hands. Nothing moves to the next stage because we assumed you meant yes.

  1. A free 20-minute call.

We look at what you have now and tell you exactly what you need — including "less than you think". If we are not the right fit, we say so and point you somewhere better.

  2. A fixed written proposal.

Pages, deliverables and timeline, named and in writing. No hourly billing, and no scope still being worked out while you wait for something to ship.

  3. A deposit holds your date.

Your deposit schedules the work. The balance is due on launch day, before anything goes live. Nobody pays for something they cannot yet see working.

  4. We build, and we train.

A recorded screen-share on your own content, plus a written guide for the parts you will want to change without us. Handover is part of the build, not an extra.

  5. You go live with 30 days of fixes.

If something does not work as promised, it is a bug in what we built. We fix it and we do not invoice it. That part is unconditional.

  6. Care, only if you want it.

Month to month, thirty days notice, and you leave with your domain, your content and your code. Staying should be a decision you make every month.

Questions

05 / 05

Eleven questions, answered the way we would on a call.

01 How long does a project take?

It depends on the engagement, and we name the timeline in writing before we start. Those timelines assume you get us your text, photos and approvals when they are asked for. They are working timelines, not best-case numbers.

If a project pauses on your side for ten business days, the timeline pauses, your start date releases, and you re-enter the queue at the next open slot. You keep nothing at risk, and we do not hold a slot hostage.

02 What do you need from us?

Less than most people expect. You supply the text and at least six usable photos — that keeps the project lean. If you would rather not write it, we will: copywriting and photography are add-ons quoted in writing.

Beyond that, one real commitment: a free 20-minute call to agree the page list before anything is built. That call is the cheapest insurance in the whole process.

03 What happens to the site we already have?

It gets replaced, not patched. Inherited code is the most expensive thing in this trade, and you should not own it twice. Your content comes across, and moving an existing site is a priced item quoted in writing.

If your existing site is in reasonable shape, we will usually tell you not to do a full build at all. Your domain is never taken from you — you own it from day one, including if you leave.

04 Who owns the website?

You do, from the start. Your domain, your logo, your copy, your photos, your Google Business Profile, your analytics. Not a hostage, and not a favour.

If you leave: send thirty days notice, pay the final month, and take your domain, your content and your source code with you at no charge. We will walk you through deploying it anywhere. No hosting hostage, no migration fee.

05 What does the care plan include?

The same core on every plan: uptime monitoring, daily backups with a tested restore, security patches, SSL and domain renewal, up to two small content edits a month, up to two hours of small changes, a monthly email, and same-business-day response on anything that breaks.

The boundary is the reason the promise is worth anything: new pages, redesigns, new features, an SEO programme and ad management are quoted as add-ons, in writing, so the arrangement never quietly wanders.

06 How long until we are on the first page of Google?

We will not say thirty days. Anyone who does is either guessing or about to sell you something else.

Measurable movement in calls and form fills typically takes months; a regular top-three map result for a normal-competition search takes longer; a genuinely competitive one takes longer still. Paid ads are the honest answer if you need jobs in the next thirty days.

We do not guarantee rankings, and you should not pay anyone who does.

07 What if we want something outside the scope?

Then it is a change order with a written quote. You ask by email or on a call; we reply in writing within two business days with the added scope, the added price and the added or delayed timeline; you approve, and a reply saying "yes" is enough; then we build it, not before.

Two rounds of revisions per page are included. A third round is quoted separately — and if we are the ones asking for a third, that is usually a sign we started with different ideas, which is a conversation rather than a charge.

08 Is this within our budget?

Honestly: if the answer is no, do not stretch for it. A project you resent paying for produces a website you are embarrassed by, which costs you twice.

There are cheaper doors — care on the site you already have, or a single add-on. There is no financing and no payment plan, deliberately: we would rather have the cash conversation with you than with a lender. If it is not in the budget right now, we will say so, and we can talk again in six months. That conversation costs you nothing.

09 We already get leads from Facebook.

Good. Then you are not starting from zero, and we would rather build on that than talk you out of it. One question matters more than any argument: what does a lead actually cost you there? Bring that number and this becomes arithmetic instead of faith.

Two things people get wrong: ads stop the day you stop paying, but your site and your Google presence keep working; and for a local business, most Facebook leads are driven by your Google listing and reviews rather than the ad itself.

10 What makes you different from a freelancer?

Not the craft. A good freelancer can match it. It is the contract underneath: a written fixed scope and a written monthly arrangement, with the terms published so you can hold us to them.

Any professional who cannot put a scope and a care promise in writing is guessing, and a guess on a business asset is expensive later. If you have a freelancer who can put both in writing, and whom you trust at 9pm on a Sunday, hire them.

11 Why do you not publish your prices?

Because a menu forces everyone to price from the middle. A public rate card pads every job to the most complicated version of it, which is the trick that sells people work they did not ask for.

Instead, every engagement is quoted in writing for the exact scope you need, on the same two-business-day clock as everything else. The number that matters is the one in your proposal, because that is the number the scope is attached to — and you can argue with the list before you pay for it.

Your question isn't here?

Then it is one we should answer, and we would rather hear it than have you guess. Ask it in the brief form — six fields, and none of them require you to know the answer in advance.
